It’s a fact: men love tools. In this case in particular, a concrete saw. We had a customer who had a very old driveway with many cracks in it. I discussed with her the idea of running pipe “under” the driveway as a way to install the sprinkler system. I told her that this would indeed mean cutting her driveway. She was all for it, since she plans to replace the driveway eventually. In the first picture you can see the driveway cutting, in the second picture you can see the pipes laid beneath, and in the third you can see the finished product. Whenever we cut driveways we put pavers down to dress it up. Our friend Doug at Wild Rockies is always willing to provide a few pavers throughout the season as needed. If you notice closely, the water pipe is in a conduit sleeve, and the wire is in a conduit sleeve as well. At Sprinkler Maniac, we always put pipes and wires in conduit whenever possible. That way if something needs changing in the future it’s as easy as 1-2-3.
